Answer by lwsshak3(11628) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
log base 2(5x+4) - log base 2(x-1)=3
2^3=(5x+4)/(x-1)
8=(5x+4)/(x-1)
8x-8=5x+4
3x=12
x=4
