Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
What is the inverse equation for f(x)=5x-5?
Interchange x and y to get:
x=5y-5
Solve for y:
5y=x+5
y= (1/5)(x+5)
================
and what is the inverse equation for y=(x-6)/3 ?
Interchange x and y to get:
x = (y-6)/3
Solve for y:
3x=y-6
y=3x+6
============
