Question 797274: solve for x; lnx+ln(x+1)=1
Answer by lwsshak3(11628)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
solve for x;
lnx+ln(x+1)=1
ln(x)(x+1)=1
e=x^2+x
x^2+x-e=0
solve for x by quadratic formula:

a=1, b=1, c=-e
x=[-1±√(1-4*1*-e)]/2
x=[-1±√(1+4e)]/2
