Question 747855: solve each equation or inequality round to four decimal places...
2.4^(x+4)=30

so far i have (x+4) log2.4 = log 30
x+4 = log30/log2.4
x = (log30/log2.4) -4
and now im lost???

Answer by Kg2003(10)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You're right. Now on a calculator simplify log30/log2.4 and get approx 3.885. Now subtract four. That's your answer. Because its negative make sure to check your answer back in the original problem. In this case, it does work.
