Question 73210: Use the properties of logarithms to expand.
log(4 lower)xy^3/z
Any and all help would be appreciated

Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Remember:
log(ab)=loga + logb
log(a/b)=loga - logb
loga^b = bloga
--------------
Just keep in mind this is all base 4:
log(4 lower)xy^3/z
=log(x)+log(y^3)-logz

=log(x) +3log(y) -log(z)
