Question 717956: if log [base x] (3) - log [base 2] (a) = log [base 3] (a), express log [base x] in terms of log [base a]
Answer by jsmallt9(3758)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
"...express log [base x] in terms..."
log base x of what? you left out a critical piece of the problem.

P.S. In response to the comment in your "thank you" note: If this is how the problem we given to you then the problem you were given is missing a critical piece of information. It has to say "... express log [base 3}" [of something] "in terms of ..." to make any sense.
