I need some major help how would you graph
g(x)=log(x+5)-8
It helps if you know (in general) what the log(x) graph looks like.
If you do, plot a few points to locate the curve:
Let x = 5, then y = log(10)-8 = 1-8 = -7
Let x = 95, then y = log(100)-8 = 2-8 = -6
The vertical asymptote for the curve is x = -5
----

------------------------------------------
and what would you do in order to graph g(x)=-3^x
It helps if you know (in general) what the y = 3^x curve looks like.
---
Then just flip it over on the x-axis and you have y = -3^x
---
Or plot some points to see the curve.
