Question 692278: Solve 3^x+2=9^x
Answer by Alan3354(69443)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3^x+2=9^x
3^x+2 = 3^(2x)

Sub y for 3^x

(y-2)*(y+1) = 0
y = 2
3^x = 2
x*log(3) = log(2)
x = log(2)/log(3)
x =~ 0.63093
------------
Ignore the 3^x = -1 answer
