Question 688041: I am checking my answer to expand my expression:
log3(3square root x /81)
[NOTE: the 3 is not in front of the radical it is inside the check mark section of the radical on top left of it, and the X is inside the radical, that is then divided by 81]
I get:
1/3log3 x-4
Did I do this correctly?
Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
expand my expression:
log3(3square root x /81)
----
log3(cbrt(x)/3^4)
---
= log3(cbrt(x)) - log3(3^4)
----
= (1/3)log3(x) - 4
======================
You are correct.
Cheers,
Stan H.
