Answer by Alan3354(69443)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
ln x^-3 - (ln x)^2 = -28
-------------
If you mean ln(x^-3) and (ln(x))^2
-3ln(x) - (ln x)^2 = -28
(ln(x))^2 + 3ln(x) - 28 = 0
sub u for ln(x)

(u + 7)*(u - 4) = 0
-------
ln(x) = -7

---------
ln(x) = 4
