Question 65585: I need some help with Logarithms.
"For the function defined by f(x)=5x-4, find a formula for f^-1(x)."
Thank you.

Answer by Nate(3500)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
f(x) = 5x - 4 aka ~> y = 5x - 4
x = 5y - 4
x + 4 = 5y
x/5 + 4/5 = y
.2x + .8 = f^-1(x)
