Express as a single logarithm 4log a - log b
log a^4 - log b
log (a^4/b)
Happy Calculating!!!

Answer by uma(370)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
4log a - log b
= log a^4 - log b [as log a^n = n log a]
= log(a^4/b) [as log a - log b = log(a/b)]
Thus 4log a - log b = log(a^4/b)

Good Luck!!!
