Find the output voltage (Eo) of an amplifier having a voltage gain of 18dB and an input voltage (E1) of 1.2 volts.Given dB gain=20 log Eo/E1.
--------------
G = 20*log(Eo/E1)
18 = 20*log(Eo/E1)
log(Eo/E1) = 0.9
Eo/E1 = 10^0.9
Eo = 1.2*10^0.9
Eo = 9.53 volts
