log(x+2)to base 3+log(10-x)to base 3-3=0
-----
log3(x+2) + log3(10-x) = 3
----
log3[(x+2)(10-x)] = 3
----
(x+2)(10-x) = 3^3
-x^2+8x+20 = 27
x^2 -8x + 7 = 0
(x-7)(x-1) = 0
x = 7 or x = 1

Hi,

3^3 = (x+2)(10-x) = 10x + 20 - x^2 - 2x
27 = -x^2 + 8x + 20
0 = -x^2 + 8x -7
0 = x^2 - 8x + 7
(x-7)(x-1) = 0
x = 7,1
