No. There is no power you can raise 1 to to get 512.

Another thing you can do to prove this to yourself is to try to solve it using change of bases.
log1 512=(ln(512))/(ln(1))=ln(512)/0=undefined

You can try putting ln(512)/ln(1) into your calculator, the ti-83 says, "ERR:DIVIDE BY 0".
