Question 617284: log (x + 16) = log x + log 16, reject any value of x that is not in the domain of the original logarithmic expression
Answer by ankor@dixie-net.com(22740) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
log (x + 16) = log x + log 16,
Adding logs is same as multiplying
log(x + 16) = log(16x)
therefore
x + 16 = 16x
16 = 16x - x
16 = 15x
x =
