My guess is that the reason you have not yet received a response to this post is that the tutors don't believe the equation you posted is actually the equation you meant to post. What you posted means:

In general, use parentheses freely, especially for (but not limitmed to):

multi-term numerators and denominators
exponents that are not just a variable or a positive whole number
radicands (Radicands are the expressions inside a radical.)
arguments to functions
whole fractions
