Answer by lwsshak3(11628) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
simplify:
log3(x^2-1)-log3(x-1)
log3[(x^2-1)/(x-1)]
log3[(x+1)(x-1)/(x-1)]
(x-1) cancels out
=log3(x+1)
