Question 583476: What is x when 12*(4^(4x-2))=35
Answer by lwsshak3(11628)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
What is x when
12*(4^(4x-2))=35
4^(4x-2))=35/12
take log of both sides
(4x-2)log4=log35-log12
using calculator:
(4x-2)=(log35-log12)/log4≈.7722
4x=.7722+2=2.7722
x=2.7722/4
x≈.6931
