Question 540284: I'm having with the attempting to simplify log(4)6xlog(6)64 I've attempted to divide log6/log4, log64/log6 and then multiply them, but I am not sure if that is simplifying the equation
Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
simplify log(4)6xlog(6)64
----
log4(6) * log6(64)
----
= log(6)/log(4) * log(64)/log(6)
-----
Cancel the log(6) that is common to numerator and denominator:
= log(64)/log(4)
-----
= 3
