this equation doesn't make a lot of sense.
i get log(5) = log(9) after solving it.
i used a calculator and solved it directly using the calculator log function.
i got the same answer as when i simplified it and then got the answer.
the attached document shown below indicates the progression of simplification for this equation.

number 1 is just showing the problem again as i see it from what you indicated.
a,b,c are the concepts used.
number 2 is applying concepts a and c on your equation.
number 3 includes the application of concept b.
number 4 is the same as number 3 except 625 raised to the 1/2 power is shown as 25 because 625 raised to the 1/2 power is the square root of 625 which is 25.
number 5 shows the final result which is log(5) = log(9).
since log(5) does not equal to log(9), then the equation is not true.
