Question 534652: Hello, I actually have 2 Questions.
1. 11^5x=72 to logarithmic form
I basically have to change that to the logarithmic form, and I wanted to know if this was the answer:log11 72= 5x?
2. ln(3x-1)=7 to exponential form
I have to change this problem to exponential form, and I do not know where to start.

1. 11^5x=72 to logarithmic form
I basically have to change that to the logarithmic form, and I wanted to know if this was the answer:log11 72= 5x?
2. ln(3x-1)=7 to exponential form
I have to change this problem to exponential form, and I do not know where to start.
**
1. 11^5x=72
take log of both sides
5xlog11=log72
5x=log72/log11
x=(log72/log11)/5
use calculator to solve for x
..
2. ln(3x-1)=7
Exponential form: Base(e) raised to log of the number(7)=number(3x-1)
e^7=3x-1
3x=e^7+1≈1096.63
x≈1096.63/3≈365.54
