Solve by factoring. 2x-5=50x^3-125x^2
**
2x-5=50x^3-125x^2
50x^3-125x^2-2x+5=0
2x(25x^2-1)-5(25x^2-1)=0
(25x^2-1)(2x-5)=0
2x-5=0
2x=5
x=5/2
or
25x^2-1=0
(5x+1)(5x-1)=0
5x+1=0
5x=-1
x=-1/5
or
5x-1=0
5x=1
x=1/5
ans:
x=-1/5, 1/5, and 5/2
