Question 50391: Can anyone help me solve this log problem:
Solve log(lower a) (8x+5)=log(lower a)(4x+29)

Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
log(lower a) (8x+5)=log(lower a)(4x+29)
Since the log to the base "a" are the same the numbers must be the same, so:
8x+5=4x+29
4x=25
x=6 1/4
