Question 488789: would someone be able to explain how to solve to find x:
2 × (0.1)^x+1 = 25
it would be much appreciated.
Answer by lwsshak3(11628) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2 × (0.1)^x+1 = 25
2 × (0.1)^x = 24
(0.1)^x = 12
take log of both sides
xlog 0.1=log 12
x=log 12/log 0.1
x=-1.0792
