How would you expand the logarithmic expression 3ln 7=5ln y
----
It is already expanded.
Maybe you want to reduce it to one log expression or solve it for "y":
If so:
ln7^3 - lny^5 = 0
-----
ln[343/y^5] = 0
---
Take the anti-log of both sides to get:
343/y^5 = 10
y^5 = 34.3
y = 2.0280

I have no idea what you mean by "expand" in this context. I can solve the equation for , but I'm not sure that is what you want.
