without any further instructions, the normal practice is to assume that the term "log" refers to the base 10. And is just a number that you would normally look up by entering 366 on a scientific calculator and then pressing the "log" key.

Since we are in the base 10, this answer is the exponent that you raise 10 to in order to get 366. So we say:
