ln(x+5)-ln(3)=ln(x-3).

Use logarithmic law: ln(a) - ln(b) = ln(a/b)

ln  = ln(x-3)

Remove the logarithmic function from both sides.

 = x-3

x+5 = 3x - 9

14 = 2x

x = 7
