Answer by nerdybill(7384)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Use log b(7)= 1.946 and/or log 6(5)=1.069 to find the logarithm of log b(1/7)
.
Starting with:
log b(1/7)
we can rewrite as:
log b(1/7^1)
log b(7^(-1))
(-1)log b(7)
Now we can substitute in the given value of log b(7):
(-1)(1.946)
-1.946
