Answer by chriswen(106)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
6^(x+1) = 10
log6^(x+1)=log10
(x+1)log6=log10
xlog6+log6=log10
xlog6=log10-log6
x=(log10-log6)/(log6)
x=.285

Subtract from both sides

Take the log of both sides
