Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
how would this logarithm be evaluated?
e^(2x+3)/e^(x+2) = 5.3
-----
e^(x+1) = 5.3
----
Take the natural log of both sides:
x+1 = ln(5.3)
x = ln(5.3)-1
---
x = 0.6677
