Question 428502: Solve for X using the rules of logarithms, give exact answer.
(sqrt( 3 ))^x+1=9^5x-1

I probably can solve this without log. let us try.
(sqrt(3)^x+1=9^5x-1
3^(x+1)/2=3^2(5x-1)
or
(x+1)/2=2(5x-1)
x+1=4(5x-1)=20x-4
19x=5
x=5/19 ANS
I hope this is correct.
