Question 426814: ln 2x-ln(x-2)=ln3
Answer by lwsshak3(11628)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
ln 2x-ln(x-2)=ln3
..
ln2x-ln(x-2)=ln3
=ln2x-ln(x-2)-ln3=0
=ln2x-(ln(x-2)+ln3)=0
ln(2x/(3(x-2))=0
convert to exponential form,
e^0=(2x/(3(x-2))=1
=2x/3x-6=1
2x=3x-6
x=6 (ans)
