log2 x -log2 3=log 2(2x-5)

I'm assuming everthing in the above question is to log of base 2.

log2 x -log2 3=log2 (2x-5)

Apply logarithm law: log a - log b = log (a/b)

log2 (x/3) = log2 (2x-5)

Remove the log function from both sides of the equation.

x/3 = 2x-5

x = 6x -15

0 = 5x - 15

x = 3

Hope thats what you required!

log2 x -log2 3=log 2(2x-5)
log2(x/3) = log2(2x-5)
x/3 = 2x-5
x = 3(2x-5)
x=6x-15
5x = 15
x=15/5
x=3
The answer is x = 3

log2 x -log2 3=log 2(2x-5)
since base is same for all we can omit t.
log(x/3)=log(2x-5)
x/3=2x-5
x=6x-15
5x=15
x=3
