"Expand" is a vague term. I am guessing at its meaning.

First we can use the property of logarithm, , rewrite your logarithm of a product as the sum of the logarithms of each factor:

Next we can use another property of logarithms, , to move the exponents of the last two logarithms out in front of themselves:

This, I guess, is what is meant as "expanded".
