Question 37759: I don't understand how to solve logarithms such as this:
3logx - log6 + log2.4 = 9

Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3logx - log6 + log2.4 = 9
You need to understand and use the Laws of logarithms.

logx^3 - log6 +log2.4 = 9
log[(2.4x^3)/6]=9
(2.4/6)x^3 = 10^9
x^3= [6*10^9/2.4]
x=1.35720881X10^6
