Question 373431: I've been asked (as a step in graphing) to "find the log of the concentrations of the gibberellins" I guess I just don't know what I'm being asked. the concentrations are 10^-7 molar, 10^-6 molar, 10^-5 molar and 10^-4 molar. what are their logs?
Answer by scott8148(6628) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
a logarithm is an exponent to which some base value is raised to yield the argument of the log
___ eg. logb(a) = c means b^c = a
since "common" logs are base10 , the logs of your numbers are just their exponents
___ if no base value is indicated , the logs are base10 by default
log(10^-7) = -7 , etc.
