Question 36802: convert to logarithmic equations. For example, the logarithmic form of "23 = 8" is "log2 8 = 3".

e^x = 5

Answer by imran(2)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
e^x = 5
Taking log on both sides we get
log e^x = log 5
Here, the exponent "x" of "e" comes out as the coefficient of "log e" by a property of logrithm. So we get
xlog e = log 5
and hence x = log5 , Because log e = 1
