For example, the other question was express log 1/25 in log 5, so I said:
log 1/25 = log (5)^-2 = -2

I don't know how to apply this to log 2, though. Thanks for your help!

Hi! I have a question about logarithms.
How do you express log 2 using log 5?
---------------
You always have log10 = 1 available.
---
log(5) = log(2) = log(10/5) = log(10)-log(5) = 1-log(5)
