Question 346358: e^x=3^x+2
Answer by nyc_function(2741)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
I think you mean e^x = 3^(x+2) [ e^x = 3^x + 2 has no solutions,
because e^x < 3^x for all x... ]
take ln of left and right side
x = (x+2) ln(3)
x ( 1 - ln(3) ) = 2 ln(3)
x = 2 ln(3) /(1- ln(3) )
