Answer by Alan3354(69443)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
log(1500) = 3.17609...
Do you not have a calculator?
Or is that what you meant to ask?
log(1500) = log(3) + log(5) + log(100)
= log(3) + log(5) + 2
----------------------
Logs are exponents. The name logarithm is unfortunate, if they were called exponents it would be easier to understand.
------------

The log is the exponent of 10 (10 for "common logs").
