You have to know how to use the rules of logarithms.
1)I'm not going to type all the "a's" as you know it
is all base a:
You get log[(ab^2)/c]
2)Here I will not type the base "b".
log 12 = log (4*3) = log 4 + log 3 = log 2^2 + log 3 = 2log2 + log 3
If you can understand this you understand two of the log laws.
