Question 316267: Hi. I need to express the logarithmic expression:
logsuba((xsqrta)/y^2)) in terms of x and y.
I know that when expanding logs, division becomes subtraction; so this would be:
logsubaXsqrta - 2logsubaY .
The part I need help understanding is how to get rid of the sqrta in order to get the answer:
logsubaX - 2logsubaY + 1/2
If you can help, it would be much appreciated! Thanks!
