Question 310560: if x=log base 6 of 2 and y= log base 6 of 5 express log base 6 of 120 in terms of x and y
Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
if x=log6(2) and y= log6(5) express log6(120) in terms of x and y
------------------------
120 = 5*6*2^2
------------------------
log6(12) = log6(5*6*2^2) = log6(5) + log6(6) + 2log6(2)
= y + 1 + 2x
