Express as a single logarithm.Simplify if possible.
log (a, 2) }}} + 4 log (a, y) - 2 log (a, z)
---------------
= loga(2) + loga(y^4) - loga(z^2)
---
= loga[2y^4/z^2]

That's easy:
loga2+4loga y-2loga z
Solution;
Apply the laws of logarithms;
loga2+log(a)y^4-log(a)z^2
log(a)(2*y^4/z^2)
log(a)(2y^4/z^2)
Final answer: log(a)(2y^4/z^2)
