Question 301303: solve ln(3x+1)-In(5 x+7)=In(6x+11)-In(10x-3)
Answer by Alan3354(69443) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
solve ln(3x+1)-In(5 x+7)=In(6x+11)-In(10x-3)
--------------------
Subtracting logs --> division
ln(3x+1)/(5 x+7)=In(6x+11)/(10x-3)
If the logs are equal:
(3x+1)/(5 x+7)=(6x+11)/(10x-3)
Cross multiply, etc
You can finish it.
