Question 270092: okay so i have aquestion that reads:
If Log(x+1)+log(x-1) = 5, then what expression is equal to 10 to the fith power?

Answer by edjones(8007)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
log(x+1)+log(x-1)=5
10^log(x+1)+10^log(x-1)=10^5
(x+1)*(x-1)=100,000
x^2-1=100,000
x=sqrt(100,001)
