When they say "Evaluate the logarithmic equation...", they simply mean plug in some number in for 'x' and use a calculator to find the result. For example, to evaluate the logarithm for x=1, plug in x=1 to get . You would type in "log(1)/log(4)+4" (without quotes) into your calculator. So when , then giving you the point (1,4).
