step 1 - use rules of logs on the left to get
log%284%2C%28%282x%2B5%29%2F%28x-2%29%29%29+=1
step 2 - rewrite as exponents like this
4%5E1+=+%282x%2B5%29%2F%28x-2%29
step 3 - cross multiply to get
4x-8+=+2x%2B5
step 4 - solve for x to get
2x+=+13
x = 13/2
