You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Here is the problem:
0.9=log%280.2-x%2Fx%29
step 1 - rewrite as exponent
10%5E.9+=+%28.2-x%29%2Fx
step 2 - mutiply by x to get
x%2A10%5E.9+=+.2+-+x
add x to get
x%2A10%5E.9+%2B+x+=+.2
factor x to get
x%281+%2B+10%5E.9%29+=+.2
divide to get
x+=+.2%2F+%281%2B10%5E.9%29
x ~ .02236

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
0.9=log(0.2-x/x)
not sure if this is 0.9=log10 (0.2 - (x/x))
or 0.9=log10 ((0.2-x)/x)
0.9=log10 (0.2-(x/x))
0.9=log10 (0.2-1)
0.9=log10 (-0.8)
can not take log10 of a negative number
0.9=log10 ((0.2-x)/x)
0.9=log10 (y)
y = b^x <==> logb(y) = x
10^0.9=y
10^0.9=(0.2-x)/x
(10^0.9)x=0.2-x
(10^0.9)x+x=0.2
((10^0.9)+1)x=0.2
(7.943282+1)x=0.2
(8.943282)x=0.2
x=0.022363
